The ruin is of a 12-century castle built for Hadmar I (d.1138). Richard I (Lionhearted) was imprisoned here in 1192 until his ransom. In the foreground is some of the wall that surrounded the town of Durnstein.
In the old town in Bratislava, we encountered street musicians, including this lovely quintet of girls in traditional Slovakian costume, singing traditional Slovakian song arrangements very beautifully.
And this duo, playing Bartok and song arrangements.
